THE Agricultural Productivity Operations Office (APOO) squad emerged victorious in the battle for third place in the men’s open basketball championship match against city owned JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) by posting a 61-57 win on Tuesday, April 21, at the City Hall Quadrangle.

 

JRBGH opened the first quarter with a three-point shot to set the tone as both teams displayed eagerness and intensity on the court.

 

Midway through the game, APOO established a commanding lead, turning the match into a one-sided contest.

 

However as the final quarter approached JRBGH mounted a quick comeback, firing rapid shots in an attempt to close the gap and secure a podium finish.
